We Have a New Floor and it's Level

First thing Thursday morning George arrived with his crew and a concrete truck ready to pour the new floor. After the plumbing ground work passed inspection George leveled the dirt floor (filling in around the new pipes and sump pump.

The guys brought wheel barrow after wheel barrow full of concrete slowly filling up the basement.

They periodically would check to make sure it was level as they spread the four inches of concrete evenely across the space.

The final touches smoothing out the surface before it's left to cure over night.

Looks pretty good and the bare bricks show you how much height we gained.

They're going to come back next time to fill in edge along the utility room
